What's the chance I wont see the yolk sac at 5w3d?

Betas went from 44 at 13 dpo, 176 at 15 dpo, and 1479 at 20 dpo. Dr said he could get me in Friday for an ultrasound, I'll be 5w3d. I had a blighted ovum in Aug which is why hes getting me in so early, but now I'm really anxious I wont see anything yet and will freak out. Trying to prepare myself for what I may or may not see

Based on what I’ve researched, the chances are pretty high that you won’t see much that early. I was very lucky to catch the heartbeat at 5w5d, but the heart had started beating that day, like I said, I was very lucky

I was 5 weeks exactly when I had an ultrasound and saw both sacs

I saw everything inc heartbeat at 5wk5 but I’ve heard others haven’t seen much until 8 weeks, ...if it’s going to worry you seeing nothing I would wait

I personally wouldn’t. Even if you’re a day behind on dates/growth, this could mean you wouldn’t see even a sac and would put you into unnecessary stress. You’re only 5w3d by dates, but if baby’s measuring a few days behind you won’t see anything. Personally, my 9 week scan pushed my dates back 6 days.... if I had an early scan like this I never would’ve seen anything!

I’d wait if you can.  Even if you know your exact ovulation, you may have implanted late.  You could end up causing yourself a lot more stress than you help by going in this early.
