Clomid late ovulation?

Hi everyone, this is my first cycle with clomid. I took it CD5-9. Since day two of taking the clomid I started cramping.. I went in on CD11 for an ultrasound and she said my body didn’t respond.. I’m on CD15 now and am still cramping pretty intense, but not hurled over excruciating by any means. I called my nurse and she told me I could be ovulating late and that my body is just gearing up, even though they didn’t see any big follicles on CD11 that doesn’t mean that they couldn’t be there now or that I wouldn’t ovulate from a small follicle. Has any one had this same experience? Thanks!
