Do you ever just let your baby/toddler just have at it?

So recently my partner decided to get on my case about how our 14 month old toddler makes horrible messes. Yet he's like NEVER the one who cleans them up. So just to irk him I let her do this!!

All the time. I have a 2.5 yr old and a 1.5 yr old and I let them totally destroy one room before bed. Then I clean it up after they go to sleep.

It’s very good for them. It reduces the chance of them having texture issues, increases their sensory exploration and teaches them food management even if it doesn’t appear that way yet.

Hell yes, my mom and husband cringe but it's good for them.
