Hey Y'all got a question...
So when I found out I was pregnant, I was 253lbs. My OBGYN stated that I should not gain more than 10 lbs. I was doing great with not gaining any weight for the first 4 1/2-5 months. I have a pretty normal appetite, I portion my sizes and eat snacks throughout the day when I feel hungry. I chose to start physical therapy in the beginning of my pregnancy due to I have crooked hips and that messed up my lower back and my left leg. The physically therapy has been great to help straighten things out to have as normal of a pregnancy as possible. Yesterday (3/11), I had a visit with my OB and I had gained 11 lbs with in the last month or so.. I am currently 6 months pregnant (1st time) with a little baby boy. My diet, exercise, physical therapy, absolutely nothing has changed in my life. My OBGYN now wants me to see a dietitian because if I gain to much weight, she said they would not be able to do my delivery at that hospital and I would have to go somewhere else and most likely have a c-section...
Anyone else have this issue?
Update; I would love to look for a new OB, but I have very limited options and from reviews, a lot of the OBs near me or at my hospital arent very well likes.. The one I have is supposed to be one of the better ones where I am and unless I drive an hour or more to get there, There aren't many to chose from and I have no idea where to begin to look for a midwife..
