Early delivery

Anyone have elevated bp without getting preeclampsia and not be induced early?? I have an ultrasound this afternoon and I’m having slightly elevated blood pressures. I have a headache but I get migraines and that’s what this feels like. I’m supposed to have my baby shower Saturday and I’d really like to not miss that.

They ended up sending me home. Pressure went down and my migraine mostly went away. Have to get weekly blood work done now. Fun

I’m 35 weeks yesterday. They gave me an official diagnosis of gestational hypertension today. Waiting to find out if I’m going on bed rest. Came to triage with 169/109 this morning. Finally down but the headache won’t stop.

I have been having steadily increasing BP’s since 32 weeks and they finally hit the “not okay” mark about 36 weeks. I didn’t have my next check up till 38 weeks and I saw a different midwife. This midwife wasn’t so willing to ignore my high BP’s so I’m getting induced at 38 and 6d. I am currently 38 and 3d. My labs came back clean with no signs of pre-eclampsia yet, but my midwife doesn’t want to risk me going into pre-eclampsia so we are going to induce.

I had elevated bp from 28 weeks till I delivered at 37 weeks. This was six years ago, and I spent those 9 weeks on bedrest. Never developed into any of the scary high blood pressure issues. And I went into labor naturally at 37 weeks. My daughter was a happy healthy 7lb 11oz.
