Pants off or just pulled down for diaper changes?

Just wondering what the norm is. My 9 month old was taking a nap at daycare when I got there to pick her up so they changed her diaper before we left and they just pulled her pants down to do it. I’ve always taken them completely off. It made me wonder what other parents do.

If it's a wee just down.
If it's a poo I don't trust her not to wiggle so trousers And socks come off.

I always just pulled them down 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't understand the point in taking them off, just to put them back on? Why add an extra step for yourself?

I've been changing diapers consistently for 22 years. For me it's so much faster and easier to leave them on.

When you have multiple kids you're looking after it's quicker and easier to just pull them down and change them as quickly as possible. I keep two under two Mon-Fri and have my son who's 2.5 and I'm pregnant. I hate putting baby pants on little babies lol

I’ve always just pulled my sons down rarely ever all the way off even fir poops and he does wiggle but I guess I’m lucky and never had a issue, I actually never thought of so many people taking them off learned something new today lol I’ll stick with my way though because it’s pretty fast this way

I always take them completely off. But when I got to daycare one day last week they were changing DD and the just had them pulled down. Must be a daycare thing! 🤔😁

My youngest is at the phase where she doesn’t lay down to be changed so I just change her standing up and pull her pants to her ankles instead of taking them off, I still do it with my 2.5 year old cause well it’s easier if we are in a public bathroom cause she’s way to heavy for a changing table now

I take them off because it’s easier for me but my SIL just pulls them down cuz that’s easier for her.
