Help!! Baby troubles

So I put my one year old in his bed to sleep. I let him cry for 10 minutes and then check on him and give him a bottle and pacifier and turn his music machine on but I don’t pick him up. I’ve been doing this for a few weeks and it’s worked. He’s off schedule now and wants to be held because we just got off an 8 hour flight with layover. Well I put him in his bed and he gaged himself and puked. I cleaned him up and restarted my CIOM. And then he did it again. Idk what to do. I can’t bring him into my bed anymore. We’ve co slept for a few months back when he didn’t have a bed and he became so clingy I couldn’t even put him down to pee or take a shower and I stopped having sex with my husband. We didn’t go anywhere and it was just awful and I refuse to go back to that
