Husband doesn't want me to work

My husband and I have always disagreed about me working. His reasons were that his mom and grandmother needs a break from raising children and because I should finish my bachelor's degree first. Well I've finished my degree and the job I got at the end of my pregnancy wants me to return. My supervisor is so sweet and willing to let me work 2 days out the week until I'm comfortable. When I told my husband he still wasnt happy and says I leave him out of all decisions. I've been all about my kids for 4 years now (4 yo, 22 month old and 2 mo) I just want an identity other than mother and to gain experience in the work field! Ugh sorry just had to get that out.
