How often do you go out with your infant?

My daughter is 2 months old and Dad and I disagree on how often to go on outings and where to go.
When did you start taking your infant to places, how often and where did you go? 
Movies? Restaurant? Shopping?

I've been taking him everywhere since we were released from the hospital. I have an almost 4 year old and life with him can't slow down because of the new baby. 
Baby #2 is now almost 6 weeks and I usually keep him in his carseat or I wear him. Big brother doesn't touch him until he's used sanitizer or washed his hands, and strangers don't touch.

We never stopped going places. Just because we had a baby doesnt mean we needed to stop living our lives.

We took our son everywhere as soon as I felt well enough to move around. He goes on all our shopping trips and our weekly restaurant dates. We don’t take him to the movies because I don’t want to interrupt other people’s experience (or mine if I’m paying that much money).

I’m paranoid as hell (and OCD too) so I personally waited until my daughter got her shots. Only places my daughter went was back and forth from my apartment to my parents whenever I/we had to work.

Once my daughter had her 2 months shots I started taking her to run errands. With how often she nursed back then it wasn’t worth going out too often. I spent majority of the time sitting in the car or wherever we were nursing her

Groceries we did since he was about 2-3 weeks, baby shower for him when he was almost 3 weeks. Groceries weren’t often, I’d try to go by myself but that’s not always how it works out, but once he got his 2 month needles we felt better about bringing him out. Restaurant we didn’t bring him out till he was like 5-6 months lol but that’s because we didn’t go out often, if we ate out we’d order in. Just dress for the weather plus a layer more then yourself. Don’t let others touch him!

By 2 months, our daughter had seen every inch of San Diego, CA. We've been taking her out daily since she was 2 days old. In those first 2 months, she went to the ocean, the pool, museums, the county fair, the San Diego Zoo, the botanical gardens, the library, restaurants, malls/stores, a college football game, two MLB games, etc. She had gone on two 3-hour road trips as well (one being out of state). There's nothing wrong with leaving the house with your child. I've never stayed home just because I have a kid.

We started taking baby out at 2 weeks everywhere we go. Every day I take her out somewhere, I will always look for a reason to take her out. At least 1 place or multiple places. Store, shopping, restaurant, etc. A friend had her baby not long after me, and she practically never takes her baby out, except doctors appointments. We got together the other day and her baby wouldn’t stop “squealing” like everything surprised her. I think it’s healthy for the baby, and better for their development to get them out.
