Thinking about renting this house. Is there anything I could do non-damaging to cover up this horrendous flooring and counter tops.

Peel and stick vinyl or even a floating vinyl floor. For the countertop there isn't much but I saw on Pinterest someone put down marble shelf liner on their countertop and it looked good. You can try that?

I mean ask the renters. I bet they wouldn’t mind an upgrade they don’t have to pay for. This is what my dad did when renting our house when I was younger. He would ask permission and they usually would say yes because it was improvements. This will raise the value of their home without them having to spend any money. Sounds like a win.

Ask if you can put down peel n stick- I cant see why theyd say no. Just dont expect them to pay for it but you can offer to do it for a slight reduction in rent for a month if they are open to it
