Should I message him?

So I matched with this guy on tinder sometime last month and he messaged me right away and we talked for a little bit. He asked me for my number and I can’t remember why but my dumbass didn’t respond. I kept thinking about messaging him but didn’t. Today he showed up at my job (I work fast food) with his friends and I recognized him. He’s really cute and seems really sweet. And yes he did see me as I was working the register. And I also had to bring one his friends their food and talked to them for a little but as they were complaining about their chips being stale. Should I message him and if so what should I say?
