Potty training advice

I think my LO is ready to start potty training soon. She my 2 years and 3 months old. But I have a few questions I’d like to get some advice on:

-she hasn’t woken up dry from a nap or in the morning- but shows many other signs: interest in potty, tells me she needs to go (but never really does), grunts when she poops, stands still when she pees. Do those seem like enough signs or should I wait for the dry ones? She has pooped and peed on the potty before.

-I’m going to try the “potty train in 3 day method” using underwear. When did you do you first outting after potty training? Did you take a potty seat with you?
