Rant...Grandparents 😶

Okay so my inlaws have 3 sons with 5 grandchildren, the other 2 sons have 2 kids each and I have a son.

So the 2 oldest girls are 3 and my son is 1 along with his niece and they have a 4 week old grandson.

So last night they said that they where going to start taking the older 2 grandchildren every other Friday and take them out on the Saturday to do something fun, then when the younger 3 where older they would do the same.

Now when the older 2 where the same age as my son they would ask for them all the time, they have never asked for any of the younger 3 ( my son) since he was born, and tbh my son is a brease compared to the older 2 , there at a stage where they have attitude and be quite naughty. It's like the novaltys worn off abit at Christmas his grandmother said it wont be as exciting this year we've all had a big Christmas altogether with the girls first Christmas, I thought it will be for me it's my sons first Christmas.

I just think you had the older 2 when they where my sons age (there 46) even if it was to much now to have the younger ones over night, even though 2 years ago it was fine for them, they could still take my son out,fare enough hes not gunna understand allot but it's nice for him to get out and about. And hes a lovely little boy as are the other 2 younger ones.

Anyway my partner said if they start taking the older 2 out for days out then he will say something. I said tbh if he gets to 3 and they all of a sudden want him,I'll ask where they've been for the last 3 years.

I'm not saying I want to get rid of him either, I only want someone to want to have him and not for him to be a burden, I just think it would be nice for him to have days out with his grandparents ,just like the older 2 have since they where my sons age.

Do you have parents or inlaws who go on like there grandchildren are life all over social media but when it comes down it act like there abit of a berden??
