Heart beat in left ear ?

I have doctors tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone has the same a couple weeks ago i got the flu i was really ill with it i started getting a sound in ear of my heart beat i thought maybe its because i have the flu 3 weeks later its still there all the time its stopping me from sleeping properly as its all i can hear unless i lay on the ear has anyone had this ? Is there anyway to get rid of it ?

Your ear probably has swelling/inflammation from mild infection. When you have the flu, your immune system isnt as strong so it's easy to catch infections following a flu. Ibuprofen should help with the inflammation and a quick exam from a doctor should be able to determine if it's a concern or not. If that's the only symptom you have, you may not even need to see a doctor unless it gets worse.
