Wish her luck

So 3 years ago my grandpa passed away. He had lung cancer and got 3/4 of his lung taken out. Unfortunately he got pneumonia which took him months after he had surgery. He was in the hospital for a month before he passed and I visited almost every day. Monday March 18th marked 3 years.

I live in Michigan and most of my dads family lives in Indiana so it’s like 3 1/2-4 hours to drive there. I don’t drive so my moms my only way there for rn. My grandma there who I’m really close I just found out is having basically the same surgery as my grandpa who passed. I was extremely close to my grandpa as he was like my dad. And so it’s hitting home for me. They found a mass in her lungs and are doing a biopsy. If it’s cancer they will remove it like they did for my grandpa.

If you guys could send your best wishes that would be great or if you had something nice to say to help me through this. Her surgery is Friday, and I’ll be in the car all day going to Myrtle beach. And I’m having anxiety about it cuz I can’t be there for her.

This was my grandpa before he got sick, he got diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis so he had to be on oxygen.

This is very tough for me as I’m very scared of losing her 😔
