Hormonal Acne
So over the last few years, I’ve began to notice my breakouts getting worse. I’m 31 and have been TTC now for four months. I was tracking my LH levels and notice I get peaks for ovu every month around same time and my periods have been pretty much on point my whole life. But the acne I feel is out of hand. I shared the concern with my OBGYN who told me to come back in a few months after I’d been trying longer for a child before running any tests. I guess I’m feeling a bit defeated bc I’m wondering if this acne is just chalked up to low hormones or possible PCOS or just plain life! So far my symptoms are very oily skin, periods are regular and have been since I was a kid, breakouts can be bumps or cystic, and I am overweight but staying level. I had my thyroid checked a few years back and everything was normal, no issues. Any feedback or recommendations of things to try would really help!
