Period Pains¿?

So i went to urgent care because for the last week ive been having abdominal tenderness & low back pain. They took some of my urine & they found A LITTLE bit of white blood cells which means possibly a UTI. Which is weird, because i would think they would know. Well, I just started my menstrual cycle this morning & when I go pee or push where my uterus is gets sharp pains. Not sure if thats because i have cramps or this could be a sign that i do have a uti? . Also they want me to go see a gynecologist to rule out if i possibly have pelvic inflammatory disease or fibroids. If any ladies suffer from either of these what were your symptoms?
