37 weeks + 1 day, bleeding

Woke up this morning to use the restroom and when I wiped, I noticed a dime sized amount of bright red blood. It was not accompanied by a lot of discharge, so I don't think it was my mucous plug, but then again, what do I know? 🤷‍♀️

Called my OB and she said it could potentially the onset of labor. I'm hoping so because yesterday at my appointment I was told my doctor would be out of town all next week for a conference 🙄

I have to have a repeat c section and the thought of her not being in the OR should I go into labor while she is out of town gives me a lot of anxiety 😬 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I labor today before she leaves 🤞

Anyways, could this be the start of something? Didn't experience any bleeding during my first pregnancy. My doctor told me to go to the hospital only if it continues.
