How many years apart is a good start to have another baby? My daughter is 1 and husband wants more children soon...

I'm 23 and my daughter just turned 1 on 9/4 my husband wants our children to be as close together in age as possible. I am not sure what is a good space between the kids just looking for some opinions

I have a 7 year old daughter and been ttc for 1 year. There aren't any right or wrong ages between kids. It's what your comfortable with and if you can afford another child.

For your health and the babies, they say it takes your body 18 months to be fully ready again. After that it's up to you.

There is no guarantee your children will be friends. So just have them when you think its best for you. I read in psychology years ago that it's easier on the children to have a 5+ age gap. That way both children get a lot of attention while babies. But nothing is wrong. I'll probably end up doing a 3 year gap, but it's hard to plan that.

There is no "right" age gap but ususlly the closer together their age is,  the better their relationship. My sister and i are 2.5 years

As long as you and your husband are both physically, financially, emotionally, and spiritually ready with enough time to care for the individual needs of each child, whenever you two think is best.

I waited until my daughter started potty training to start trying again for another, which was when she was 2 and a half. I got pregnant right away but unfortunately lost that baby. I'm pregnant again and she'll be 3 and half when my second daughter is born and the bonus is she's completely potty trained now.

My parents used natural family planning and my brother was born when I was two. My other brother was born when I was 7. So even if you start trying now, there's no guarantee about how many years apart they'll be.
