Pregnancy allergies... Are they a thing?

Weird, I have never had allergies. The past 3 weeks, It's like I'm allergic to my house. My nose is stuffy and I can barely breathe to sleep. I tried my living room, basement and bedroom. I dusted, vaccuumed and washed the bedding. Still stuffy. Is pregnancy allergies a thing?

Yes, but hormones can also make you feel like your nose is always stuffy. I already have allergies but they are tenfold while pregnant. You can also develop allergies at anytime during your lifetime. It’s safe to take Claritin and Zyrtec while pregnant to ease your symptoms.

Its called pregnancy rhinitis! Its so fun the sneezing stuffy nose feeling and usually it can come and go throughout the pregnancy. After you give birth it resolves itself. I hate that everytime i sneeze i usually pee and now that my belly is huge 32 weeks it hurts my belly when i sneeze lol.

We had to get a humidifier as I was feeling very stuffy every morning!

The extra blood volume also causes the capillaries in your nose to swell. Makes you feel stuffy. Mine went away after a while.
