Braxton Hicks??

Question

Can someone please try and explain what a BH would feel like and where it could be located? I keep having these sharp pinching type pains on my left side right where your leg bends up to your chest. It only happens every now and then and more if I’m moving. I’m just trying to figure out if that’s what is going on. Thanks for the input.

That sounds like round ligament pain. BH is more of an entire uterus feeling and it’ll get tight and sometimes hard to breath.. it’s uncomfortable but not painful

BH for me is a hardening/tightening of my entire uterus. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable, other times it’s just annoying. Many time it makes me feel like I have to pee, I don’t know why. I start them in the second trimester. They happen all the time for me. Every time I stand up.

For me BH feels like my lower belly is tightening almost like a fist, it gets hard and tight and I have the urge to hold my breath until it passes. It last about 30 sec maybe a little longer and then slowly releases.

Braxton Hicks are when your whole belly tightens up. They don’t necessarily hurt, but they’re not comfortable.
