Rant🙄😑

So today I went to the clinic because I wasn’t feeling good at all, 37+3. I called and talked to a nurse who told me to go get checked out and she made me an appointment. I went in and my blood pressure was high but they didn’t stress it to me to much. I got checked and I’m finally dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced. (I know it’s not much but it’s progress after having a soft cervix for the past few months.) this explained a bit of why I didn’t feel well. She had the nurse come back and check my blood pressure again. It got even higher. The doctor came back and she had me go to the lab to get blood work done, I forgot to mention I’ve been swollen and had a headache. She wanted to check for pre eclampsia. Told me she would call me this afternoon with results after they came back regardless what they were. The lab told me that they would sent it off at 4, it was 11am at the time and that the results would get back around 7-8pm... little frustrated with that. I finally brought myself into L&D to figure out what’s going on.... thankfully my results were normal but I’m a little upset at the fact that they questioned pre eclampsia but they waited so long to send it out and then didn’t have someone at least call. How can you leave someone not knowing especially over a weekend ? Now I don’t blame the doctor as she thought they were sending it out right after as well, but geez 😣
