POSITIVE C SECTIONS STORIES???

My first was a very traumatic labor & emergency c section.
I keep hearing that scheduled c sections are super easy compared to what I went through but I'm looking for actual first hand experiences please? Due with #2 in July.

I had a scheduled c section 8 weeks ago and I have no regrets! It was a calm and reassuring experience, i was able to breastfeed my baby right away and and was up and walking the next day. I didn’t even take the recommended painkillers, I just took paracetamol for about 7-10 days after the surgery. The only thing I found uncomfortable was when they removed the catheter lol.

Scheduled c section here. It was fantastic. No regrets. Emotional and beautiful. I healed like a dream!

I was induced and planned on having a vaginal birth. But, during a cervical check, the ob explained some complications we could face and how they would all lead to an emergency C-section. She offered for us to have a c-section without the "emergency" part if we wanted. The entire pregnancy I said I didn't want a c-section but if that was the only way my son would come out then so be it. I would totally do it again. It was very chill and relaxed. It seemed to take no time and my recovery was fine after the first few hours (the drugs made me nauseous and I didn't stay on top of my epidural drugs and hurt because I got behind). Im planning on having a planned c-section next time I deliver too.

I had music playing. Chatted with my doctor, midwife, anesthesiologist and nurses. My husband got fantastic birth photos too. It was a lovely experience.

I’ve had 5 c-sections. My first was an emergency and the recovery was rough. All the rest- piece of cake. Would never want to deliver vaginally simply since c-sections are so quick and relatively pain free.

My 1st was an emergency c-section and recovery was awful. With my second she was a planned c-section and it was night and day. The recovery was almost immediate, I felt great just 2 days after.

I had my first c section in 2017 !! And it was excellent no pain or problems while getting it ! I had an epidural so they make sure when I was in the operation room that I was actually numbed by poking me up and down my body !! All I felt was pulling and tugging that’s basically it my baby arrived healthy just had to be in NICU until I leaved hospital . (One thing I can say is I see other people post about they have pain and can feel the c section while there cutting ! I have to say if u feel any type of pain let the doctor know ASAP don’t try to act like a hero and go through it feeling all sorts of pains) also due in July for my second c section 😊
