When to monitor TV around baby

Question

I’ve tried googling and it doesn’t seem to understand the question I’m asking. What age did you notice your baby really watching the TV? I don’t want to be watching Game of Thrones in front of my baby once he’s watching too!

Well, I think it's hard to give a black-and-white answer here. After the baby is a few months old, I would definitely avoid anything scary that might startle him, or show people arguing and fighting, which might upset him. I think that you'll be able to tell how much your baby is paying attention when the time comes. I haven't watched game of thrones too much, but I know there's some violence and sex. But I also know that there's pretty long periods of just chill dialogue. Idk I just think that if it's not obvious that it's effecting the baby, then you're probably ok, and that you'll be able to tell when they need to be sheltered from adult tv.

We always put our babies on our legs so they were facing us when we watched tv so they couldn’t see the tv at all and could see our faces and we could give them interaction and smiles.

If he is under like 1 he won’t have any idea what’s going on.. it’s just colors and music and talking to them.. 
when my son was like 3 though I thought he was sleeping and was watching GOT and he snuck out and a scary scene came on and all I heard was screaming behind me lol

My child is almost one and pays 0 attention to the tv. He just doesnt care about it. My niece who is 8 days younger LOVES it. They are all different, you just gotta watch them to see what they do.
