Help.

So, I was on birth control for three months and was bleeding a lot throughout the whole time I was on it. I had a change in my health insurance and couldn’t get my refills on time so I’ve been off of the birth control since the 25th of last month. My period ended the 27th. I have still had protected sex while not being on it. Checked the condoms every time after making sure they didn’t tear.

My period was do the 15th but never came, I took two pregnancy tests (just to be safe) and they both came back negative. My period still has not come and it is now the 23rd. I’m getting period like cramps just no blood.

I plan on starting my birth control up again tomorrow since I finally got my pills.

I was wondering if it was normal to not get your period for a while after stopping birth control? I read that it was but I just want to be sure. My pregnancy tests are negative.

Also, is it okay for me to start up again though I’m not on my period?
