Pads vs Tampons 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄🤔

when i first started my period at 9 i started by wearing pads. by the age of 13 i switched to tampons. i’m 20 years old and now reconsidering my decision. i have bad period cramps and heavy bleeding/ clotting. i noticed that without a tampon i’m not cramping as much. but this is my first day wearing a pad in years and i am uncomfortable. what are some pros and cons or tips anyone could give me on tampons, pads, and diva cups if anyone has previously switched products. thanks in advance!
