No heartbeat?

Question

Has anyone gone in for their first ultrasound baby looked good and there was a flutter motion for the heartbeat and then later went to a non doctor place that does abdominal ultrasound for 3D ultrasounds and can’t find a heartbeat? And then go in the next day to your doctor for a vaginal scan and there be a heart beat? I should be 9 weeks today and they couldn’t find a heartbeat on the abdominal scan! I’m praying they are wrong!!

I haven’t gone through that.... but if they saw the heartbeat on the vaginal scan it sounds pretty good!!

I was able to see heartbeat at 6 weeks abdominally but I’m also super petite everyone is different. Doctors say vaginal up until 14 weeks is the best!

At 6 weeks i was able to see a heart beat on an abdominal ultrasound. Hope everything works out!

They couldn’t see a heart beat abdominal at 8 weeks for me, but they did vaginal ultrasound and could see the heart beat.. usually they don’t do abdominal ultrasounds until 11 weeks + ( but that’s at my ob office tho)

I haven’t gone through it but I would trust the vaginal ultrasound over the tummy since at that point baby is tiny. My DR wouldn’t even do an abdominal ultrasound on me until I was passed 10weeks.
