Any idea how I can help him figure out his hand movement? He slides backwards but doesn't even try to move his hand to help him forward? I've put toys in front of him but just gets annoyed that he cant reach them ..??

My SO stood behind my son and moved one hand forward, one leg forward. Then repeated with his other hand and leg. He did this for 3 days when my son was doing exactly what yours is doing. And he learned how to crawl.

My daughter was always moving backward instead of front and one morning when I was changing her, I decided to help her move forward by slightly push her forward and that was it. She just started crawling.

Lots of my friends babies only moved backwards for the longest time, just keep putting favorite toys in front and slightly out of reach to encourage! They figure it out!
