March baby might become April baby

Had my last prenatal appointment today. Still not dilated but I have gone from a firm cervix to 70% effaced so that’s a plus. Her station is at -3. My belly is measuring 38weeks even though I’m 40+3. He said she may have dropped a little. I’m hoping now that I’ve softened that maybe she will help me dilate more. If not, I have an induction scheduled for April 2nd at 8pm. I really don’t want to be induced 😕 c’mon little girl! Pleeaasse come out on your own! We don’t want to evict you! They would be starting my induction with cyotec and then a catheter. I’ve had menstrual cramping for the last 3 or 4 days and a lot of lower back and hip pain. Increase in discharge as well and some stronger contractions but nothing that would be justified as a L&D visit since they do go away after some time. Hopefully these are signs that she may just put me into labor on her own.
