Cloth diapers

So I used disposable diapers with my last 2 and not only were they expensive, but I’ve just been more aware of how much our family puts in the trash so I’ve been trying to lessen our impact on waste. I would love to know more about cloth diapers so I’ve been trying to watch YouTube videos but I’m still so confused. I wish there was a for dummies book on cloth diapering. Any tips or recommendations on what to buy?
