I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant and I'm exhausted. I don't sleep well at all, I get maybe a total of 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night. Despite this, I still get up every morning at 3:30 am to cook my fiance breakfast, make him coffee, and pack his lunch before he leaves for work (he has to drive an hour and a half each way everyday - I know it's hard on him).

After he leaves at 4:30 I usually go back to sleep until about 7:00, when our 4 year old wakes up. I then make her and I breakfast. From that point I spend the day vacuuming, cleaning, doing dishes, washing/folding/putting away laundry, entertaining our 4 year old (NOT just plopping her in front of a screen), running errands, grocery shopping, etc. Some days are admittedly more productive than others because I get so exhausted and my feet and back hurt so bad.... but I always make sure he comes home to a clean house and a hot dinner cooked from scratch (not just freezer meals).

Lately he has been getting upset and saying that I'm "doing the bare minimum". He thinks everyday I should pick a task that's above my daily duties to complete, like pruning the rose bushes outside or cleaning/reorganizing every drawer and cupboard in the house. He says "imagine how nice our lives could be if you just did one big task a day, that's not too much to ask" but honestly I think it IS too much to ask right now 😔

Some days I feel like my expected daily duties are so overwhelming to complete. And now he has been saying he's nervous for the baby to get here because he has a feeling I'm going to let the house go to complete ruin for a year after its born because I'll use the baby as an excuse to not cook or clean, which is totally unfair and mean to say I think 😔😟

I just needed to rant, thanks for reading. Any kind or encouraging words would be appreciated. I don't feel like I'm appreciated and I'm certainly not just doing the bare minimum...
