Is this normal?

My son will be 2 next month and I noticed that he seems to mispronounce a lot of words. Like water he will say Awah and then he said “love you” clear as day...then only to mispronounce it ever since. I feel like he probably has a speech issue. He can talk pretty well now and if I had to guess, he can say about 20-30 words. I understand everything he says since I’m around him all day, but I know other people probably look at him and wonder what he’s saying.

That’s completely normal for his age. I wouldn’t worry. My now 3 year daughter spoke full sentences at 2 and half the time she’d mispronounced a lot of things and most people didn’t have a clue what she was saying. She still mispronounces some words and does not have any speech issues.

I cant understand why my now 3 yr old does this with a lot of his words when he used to say them Right. My husband keeps saying its a faze but Idk. Maybe for attention or he is right just a faze.

Sounds normal to me. It takes time for them to learn to pronounce things correctly.
My daughter is three and still doesn't pronounce everything clearly/correctly. One of my sisters can understand her well and another has trouble understanding her.

Is this normal?
