FTM breastfeeding help

So My LO is only 5 days old, and so far feeding has gone great, i finally got pass the beginning pain threshold! But now i’m thinking about pumping, and it honestly makes me sad to think about not being the one to feed him. I Looooove being close to him. i know i can’t be around him all the time and it kinda ties me up, but idc i love it. So my question is, is it even possible to just pump for the times i’m not around and just kinda have some stored for “just in case” kinda moments? is this even doable? or is it just stupid?
