Would you still take the job?
I had a job interview at a restaurant (village inn) today. First off I was seated at a table where I waited 15 or so minutes before anyone came. There were 2 managers interviewing me at the same time. (Keke and Michael) they didn't even say hi, or smile, they just sat down at the table. The only reason I know their names was because of their name tags. Keke said to Michael "I don't want to do this one I did the last one" which I felt was kida rude. They asked the normal questions like, tell us about yourself, what do you do for fun, any experience in the food industry... the interview lasted 30 seconds. A minute at the most. Keke then said, we have another interview to do we'll give you a call in a few days. Then they just got up and left. Soo at this point I'm assuming I didn't get the job. But even if I'm offered the job I'm not sure i even want to take it because the management seemed rude and unprofessional. I don't think I want to work with that. Would you still take the job when the managers act like this? Will it matter in the long run? I'm already planning on applying for more jobs but its so hard to get jobs in this area I feel like I'm lucky that i even got this interview.
