My son had the stomach bug. Am I in the clear?

My son had diarreah Saturday evening. Then threw up Sunday evening only 3 times. He hasnt thrown up since 130am Monday morning. My husband and I are feeling fine. I disinfected the whole house. If we havnt gotten it yet are we in the clear? First tim our son has gotten a bug.

The incubation period (before symptoms start) is 7-10 days. So if you don’t have any symptoms after a week, I’m sure you’re fine. Adults are less likely to get it than kids are.

Usually you get it 24-72 hours later. I got it 2 days later, my mom got it 3 days later. Hope you don’t get it!!

Maybe...maybe not. 
A lot of times our kids will get sick and we avoid it.  Other times we get it too.  I think the longest we went was around 5 days after patient 0 first started getting sick.
