Aunt said my stretch marks will go away

Yesterday I looked in the mirror at my belly and noticed I now have horizontal stretch marks!! I’ve had vertical ones growing this whole time but now they go both directions!

I don’t show my belly off anyway so I’m not concerned but it was so strange to see. While catching up with my aunt (always been petite, never had children) I told her and her reaction was so innocent. She asked why I cared about the stretch marks since they go away after the baby come out.

Turns out she thinks everything just goes right back to normal. 😂
