Is it normal for people to renew their vows on a 5th year anniversary?

Has anyone else done this? Or renewed their vows? My husband and I had a really small wedding with only 20 people tops. My dad never really got to give me away although he was there. And I would love to do that or I guess redo it. My husband and I have overcome alot within our first few years of marriage and we ha e fallen more in love with each other everyday and would love to do this too. And has anyone had their kids involved we have a daughter together.
Is this a normal thing?

I personally know 2 couples who renewed their vows at 25 years and both are now divorced 😬 so I’m superstitious and think it’s bad luck

I don't see why not! We eloped so we are going on a honeymoon for our 5 year next year! We wrote our own vows so we are renewing those for our 10 year.

I think 5 years is good! We had an intimate ceremony then a family wedding the following year so I plan to skip that lol but if I had done a smaller wedding once I’d definitely plan a 5 year vow renewal!

We plan to renew our vows on our 25th wedding anniversary. My grandparents did it on their 60th. I haven't heard of anyone doing it that early on, but there's no reason why you can't.

I hear more people do it around 20 years, not five but that doesn’t mean you can’t. But honestly, I don’t know how many people would go since its only been five years. Ya know?
