33 weeks 5 days, are these contractions !!?

As this is my first baby I have so many questions. Today I have noticed a lot of pressure in my pelvis area. I have even more frequency in urinating feeling than usual. No pain just slight discomfort as I feel I’m about to pee myself 24/7. Any mamas experiencing the same thing I’m not due until May 9th.

I’m due May 10th and I’ve been having a ton of Braxton Hicks contractions! And feeling pressure in my pelvis. Some of them just feel like tightening across my belly, like my belly gets hard. Some other ones feel like period cramps. Just depends I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️ my doc said they are normal!

I’m also due may 9! But this is my second. So contractions feel like period cramps. Or at least they do for me. So they’ll start off as slight period cramps and will get more intense as they go on. Typically you can drink a few bottles of water and lay down and they’ll go away. I had Braxton Hicks my entire 3rd trimester with my 1st. And they just started today with my second.
I would mention any concerns of Braxton Hicks to your doctor just so they can document but once they become steady, you can time them, and they get stronger as time goes on, it’s the real deal :)
With my 1st I didn’t go to the hospital til I was 6-7cms because I was so used to the pain and the Braxton Hicks would last for quite awhile. So that’s something to be mindful of as well. Not to scare you, just something to look out for so you get there sooner

Wow! Me too. I’m also a first time mom so I can’t really tell you anything because I don’t know anything myself! All I know right now is I have severe heartburn and don’t even have a doctors appointment till I call tomorrow and set one up, hopefully at least by the end of this week. 33 weeks and 6 days is far in the pregnancy but doesn’t feel far enough!.. May 9th can’t come soon enough. Even though I’m sure we all will either be giving birth sooner or later than our expected due dates. Good luck! And Congratulations.
