Food for 1st Birthday party?

Ladies, I need some ideas on what to have for food at my daughter’s birthday party. We will have about 40 people total (10 kids under 5). The party is from 1-3, so we don’t need it to be a full meal. 
We’re trying to find something that is budget friendly and kid friendly and not very labor intensive. My husband wants to just order pizza, but I was looking for other options.
Any ideas or things that worked well for you?
Edit: for those of you that did pizza, did you find a place that would do a discount for the amount of pizza you needed? My husband wants to do Little Cesar’s because it’s so cheap but I honestly hate their pizza 🤮

My sons first birthday was a baseball them, so we did food you’d find at a baseball game. Hotdogs, Nachos, Popcorn and Peanuts.

Usually pizza but lately for paries i been making trays of spaghetti and sliced bread.

For my sons birthday I will be doing 
Some sausage rolls
Big bowl of jelly 
Some crisps 
Cheese pizza 
Some fairy cakes 
Sandwiches 
Cookies 
Just little bits and pieces to put out on the table 
Maybe cut some cucumber and carrot sticks up with some dips. 
You Don’t need to go ott just buy it from your local supermarket and prepare it either the night before or in the morning of the party  😊

We did hot dogs,queso and chili and got chips so you could make nachos, hot dogs or frito pies and everything was easy and in the crock pots!

We did fajitas and everyone liked it, including the kids. A cheaper option would be beef tacos. It's pretty easy too,  just ground beef and McCormicks taco seasoning. Tortillas, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and salsa are all you need. Rice and beans are really cheap, but a bit more work. Both could be made the day before though. Hot dogs, chips, and potato salad are another option. Or you could make finger sandwiches and have a fruit and veggie tray. Just don't forget the cupcakes, that's the most important part. 🎂

Honestly ordering pizza is a great idea. We did a dinner thing when my son turned one and we did pizza and fruit and veggie trays and chips and a couple things of candy.
