Spinal block or epidural?

Hi mommies, I was looking for some insight from those of you who have had a spinal block, epidural or have experienced both to see which route I kinda want to take this time around.

I had an epidural with my vaginal and a spinal with my c section. Most doctors don’t give you a choice. You can’t feel to push in a vaginal with a spinal and an epidural for a c section would have been incredibly painful.

I had an epidural with my first and it turned into an emergency caection, they kept the same needle in but I did not feel anything, I slept through the procedure after 2 days of labor. 
Spinal with section 2. I felt better quicker but had no labor or extra trauma contributing.  
My OB did not give me a choice for 2 and I’ll be doing a spinal again for 3.
