New to Clomid

So I’m starting my first medicated cycle next month. My period will be here in April since I have stupid 40 day cycles. Other than that, no underlying conditions. My doctor told me to just call him before the 5th day of my cycle and I take it for 5 days starting on the 5th day. Is there anything else I should know? I just want to make sure I know as much info as possible. I’ll probably be using preseed on top of it as well. I know I most likely won’t conceive the first cycle on it but my doctor is really really hopeful that I will within the 1-3 months and that I’ll be pregnant by/in summer.
