sciatic pain?

so last night i started experiencing horrible pain down my lower back and right leg, just like the sciatic pain when you're 8 months pregnant. it's never happened during a period before, but it was so bad last night i was curled up in a ball sobbing. my cramps this cycle have been worse than usual, too. any one else go through this?

Sounds like you have a lot of inflammation going on! Your sciatic nerve pierces through the piriformis muscle in your gluteal region. If the muscle is irritated it can compromise the sciatic nerve. 
Lay on the floor on your back. Take a tennis ball and put it under the butt cheek of the effected side. Roll the tennis ball under your gluteal muscles. When you hit a sore spot HOLD that spot for 15-30 sec. Do this several times a day and ice afterwards.
