So, i just finished my placebo week (period) and i already took my first active pill of my next pack the day after i finished my placebo. I had sex twice the next day (used a condom and pulled out each time) am i good? like is the pill still effective right when u start a new pack?

BC is effective from month to month regardless of your placebo week once you finish the first month and don't miss any regular pills

Yes it's still good just remember there isn't any birth control that is 100% effective at keeping you from getting pregnant. But if you miss any pills or haven't been on them and start again they aren't fully effective until you've taken 7 pills. Make sure to read your directions if this is the case. The ones I use to take had a 24 hour window if I missed one and if it was longer than that I had to treat it as I wasn't fully protected until 7 more pills. Some pills on (when taking them as you're supposed to same time every day) have a 85% to 99% effectiveness at protecting you from pregnancy depending on what you take.
