Water birth?

Okay hear me out lol.
I’m 19w2d with baby numero 3 and for a few weeks now really wanting more and more to do a water birth. My hospital has an amazing setup for it and it wouldn’t be hard to request it.
The thing is, I don’t handle pain very well haha. I know that I won’t be able to have an epidural if we decide that (at least that’s what I’ve been told, I don’t even know) I’m seeing my doctor next week and obviously planning to ask her all the questions but has anyone else done one? How did it go?

I loved my at home water birth!! It was so empowering and amazing. You’re body is meant to give birth and is capable of doing so much! I would try to go for it mama! If anything you can always opt out if you are not handling the pain well. You will do amazing!

I used the water as pain management through my labors.  I loved it.  Purposely picked a birth center with huge heated tubs this time (I got sick every time the water chilled and I had to wait for the water to warm and refill).

Had 2, will have my 3rd in August. The warm water really helps with your pain. Just try it, it is so so peaceful. You can always change your mind if you don't like the experience.

I loved mine! I did it at home and it was virtually pain free (except the cervix tear at the veey ens thanks to my daughter's elbow).
