Irritated uterus?

I’m expecting modi twins (33 weeks) and had a CTG that detected uterine irritability. They gave me steroid injections and put me on bed rest. 
Does anyone have any experience? Like most of my complications during my pregnancy, I haven’t heard of half the things I’ve been diagnosed with.

I had an “irritable uterus” with my daughter starting around 20 weeks and this pregnancy the contractions started at like 14 weeks. I have them pretty consistently throughout the day sometimes like 10/hour. The contractions never caused me to dilate with my daughter, but since they started earlier this time I take a medication for them (Nifedipine). Basically anything irritates my uterus and causes contractions- if my bladder is full, walking, bending over, you name it.
