Tubal Ligation worth it?

I've heard good things and bad. My mother got one at 35 and it put her into a weird premenopausal state. Her Dr said a hysterectomy was the next option. This is my last baby and I don't know if I want an IUD or the tubal. Thanks!

No. Every single person I know that has had a tubal ligation has ended up with post tubal ligation syndrome. My partner will be getting a vasectomy after this bub.

I would personally never alter my body to avoid pregnancy but that is a personal choice and I wouldn’t judge anyone who did. My husband won’t be getting a vasectomy either as we believe God designed our bodies to function in ways that we couldn’t possibly understand and these surgeries could cause a domino effect of other complications and illnesses. I don’t use hormonal birth control so it’s natural family planning and barrier methods for us until I hit menopause ❤️ best of luck with your decision. I was just weighing in to be an ally if any of this would be why you would question these methods so you don’t feel alone. And if you think I’m a bible thumping hippie weirdo - that’s cool too. I know who I am 😂
