'Don't tell me your ovulating it's a turn off '

So my husband and I have decided that we want to try for our first baby around 4 months ago and we r both really excited. But the hubby said don't tell me that your ovulating as it's a huge turn off. Which I understand but since having my coil out almost 5 months ago we have only both been in the mood at the right time of the month twice and I know these things take time anyway but I feel like it's going to take forever. Help me out ladies what do i say to him.

Also every month that I do get a period I'm really ill and pass out loads and my gyneacologist is trying to deal with it but is unable to. So being pregnant for a good while and not having to have period would be fab.
