I heard my daughter say something upsetting..

BACKSTORY: We use Arlo cameras around our property and have one facing towards the living room, catching the dining table and where our daughter sits at it to eat or play. My husband works up on the slope and has been gone for almost 3 weeks (comes home in 4 days for 1 week, YAY!!). Whenever I move the cameras around to charge them, I always face the one in my hand at our daughter and say, “say hi to Daddy!” She always waves, smiles and gives her best “Hi, Daddy!” Just in case he happens to be watching, or watches that as he goes through the footage. I do that every time.

THE STORY: I was back in my bedroom putting clothes away and my 2 year old was finishing her breakfast at the dining table. I hear her start talking and begin listening while I keep house. I hear her say, “Hi Daddy! Come home, Daddy...Come home.” She sounds so sad. I come out and she looks back at me with the saddest face on. 😢 Our sweet baby girl. We always miss him so much. Can hardly wait for him to come home.
