I made a huge mess in the store...

I have never done this before and didn’t know what to do. I have really really bad anxiety and I was at the dollar store and like going through the isle where everything is literally one dollar and I was looking for candles and have no self control and can’t stop myself from getting cheap candles. There was a spray bottle of bathroom cleaner that was in the wrong place and I went to move it and the top of it came off and fell apart and the bathroom cleaner went everywhere. The whole thing emptied on to the floor and onto me. I stood there for a moment thinking of a way to clean it up. I actually had to stand there and prepare myself to tell someone 🤦🏻‍♀️I just went and told them when checking out “ummm okay I have to tell you something. I’ve made a mess and I will clean it up I just didn’t know how and didn’t know what to do. It’s in that isle, it’s bathroom cleaner. I picked it up and the top of it came off. I am so sorry.” And she was like “girl it’s okay, really. Thank you for telling us and you do not need to clean it up. Have a good day.”

Yall I feel so bad lol. I hated working as a cashier and I don’t want to be that person that leaves messes for them to clean up and still have guilt about not cleaning it up myself even though she told me not to.
