Can late period cause early ovulation?

Sounds so weird but I’m trying to figure out what’s happening with my body right now.

My period was 9 days late this last cycle. Period lasted for 5 days. And last night (day after bleeding stopped) I felt a pinch in my right side and my face is very clear and pretty today and I feel a little queezy which is exactly how I always feel when I ovulate. I wasn’t expecting these symptoms so I haven’t been using LH strips yet.

I was just wondering if this was even possible. And if I could even fully conceive this early into the cycle
